I am an Equestrian Professional who specializes in dressage and training young and "behaviorally challenged" horses. I have lived and worked in the Middleburg area since 2003 starting as an assistant trainer at a foxhunter barn. In June of 2004, I became manager and head trainer at a large Competition Stable. I have galloped race horses, evented through Prelim, shown in hand, competed in hunters/jumpers and am a USDF Bronze Medalist with scores through Fourth level. I have won numerous regional and national championships on numerous horses and my current goal is the FEI Dressage Young Horse Program qualifying for 2017 Nationals as well as earning my Silver and Gold Medals. I worked for a veterinarian throughout high school and college and did a summer internship with a talented Equine Reproduction Veterinarian in 2014.

As a life-long equestrian, I couldn't be any more excited to be joining the Hunt Country Saddlery team as a Senior Ambassador. My experiences vary from riding 4-H and herding cattle to foxhunting and showing hunter/jumpers in the A circuit. I live in the San Diego area where my horse Dash and I compete in three-day eventing. Currently, I work as a full-time, high school English teacher as well as ride during any spare time that I have.

Horse: El Lunar/Eclipse
I am an Equestrian Professional from Buffalo, NY. I grew up focusing in the disciplines of hunters and equitation, but transitioned to jumpers as a young adult. I competed at Zones & Regionals for the 2010 USHJA Emerging Athletes Program. Shortly after, I relocated to Northern Virginia in 2011 to pursue an equestrian career in the hunter/jumper world, while also exploring dressage, eventing and foxhunting. I had priceless opportunities to work under and alongside numerous well-known professionals in the equestrian business. I relocated to Long Island in late 2014, where I am now a lead trainer and instructor out of two beautiful facilities. I am both honored and excited to be representing the Hunt Country Saddlery team.

Horses have always been an important part of my life. Loved being around them, riding them and caring for them. My passion for all things equine led me to owning and training my own horse, competing, and furthering my education as an instructor. I have a bachelor's degree from Monmouth University in Psychology, and have always had an interest in how people and animals interact. That interest inspired me to achieve an Advanced Certification in Therapeutic Riding Instruction. My background includes being the equine manager at a few large barns in Monmouth County, as well as being an instructor for over 12 years. My dream was always to have my own business. That dream was realized a year ago when I opened The Equestrian Experience. We are centrally located in Howell, NJ on White Pine Farm. With a large indoor ring, ours is a year round, high quality instruction program. I enjoy working with all student levels, from someone getting on a horse for the first time, to bringing my students to the show ring. The goal is to develop well rounded equestrians and happy, healthy horses. How we equip ourselves and our animals is a critical component of success in this
business. So I consider it a real opportunity to be able to bring my experience and expertise to customers through Hunt Country Saddlery.

Horse: Rock Hard Safe a.k.a. Rocky
All my life I have been horse obsessed. I took my first riding lesson when I was 6 years old and I was hooked! The lessons evolved into a life spent in the saddle or trying to get there. Over the years I have had the opportunity to belong to Pony Club, ride and compete in Hunters, Dressage, Eventing, Hunter Paces, and even ride in a few Fox Hunts. I currently half- lease a wonderful, patient and kind Thoroughbred gelding named Rocky. Rocky and I focus our training on Eventing, but are always up for fun new adventures. I am very excited to be a part of Hunt Country Saddlery and look forward to connecting with people who are passionate about their horses.

I've been riding for 41 years. I grew up riding everything from hunters and dressage to western pleasure and roping. Now I am married to Jimmy, my high school sweetheart. I'm Mom to Bailey (13 year old daughter) 9 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats, 4 ducks. I am a full time pharmaceutical rep. And part time caretaker, stall cleaner, barn manager on our small farm.
We have Arabians and half Arabians that we show in both USEF arabian shows and USEF hunter shows.
My passion is rescuing horses of all types. We have rescued, retrained and placed more horses than I can keep track of. I love seeing the transformation in horses that others would never take a chance on. I enjoy the challenge of rehabilitation and training of those horses. I love to see their beauty come out.
Now, a lot of my time is spent keeping track of Bailey's riding activities and showing.
If it involves horses I love it.
I'm happy to be an ambassador and looking forward to helping my horse friends make their purchases from hunt country saddlery
